Review: The Guilty Wife

The Guilty Wife The Guilty Wife by Elle Croft
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It was great to get back to psychological suspense after a couple of YA reads! I came across this one in the supermarket yesterday, and after reading the blurb, resolved to get a copy. I'm happy to say that it did not disappoint!

Bethany, a photographer who's having a steamy affair with her billionaire client, finds her life upended when her lover is found murdered in the streets of London. Terrified of being at the center of a scandal and losing all that she holds dear, Bethany lies to the police and does not reveal the full extent of her relationship with the mogul.

But it soon becomes clear that the killer has it out for her. Her social media accounts are hacked and compromising information posted there. Weird letters are being delivered to her residence. Someone has proof of her affair and is not afraid to use it to destroy her.

As things escalate, Bethany must be very, very careful, because the person she least suspects could be the person trying to destroy her forever.
