Hospice nurse Eliana Huges "Eli" is struggling. Heavily pregnant, she loves her job, but her personal life is somewhat of a mess. After struggling for a while to conceive, she is now struggling to bond with her baby, putting a strain on her marriage.
Things take a turn for the worse when Eli starts receiving mysterious notes insinuating that her husband, Martin, is cheating on her. As things get worse, Eli turns to the one person she knows she can trust during this difficult time - her mother.
But who can she really trust? And just who is the mysterious Louise, who seems to have her heart set on having a baby?
